Place Review: Robloxity

Robloxity *Updates on New Servers*_ImageHello it's me, Zakary. I am going to review a game called 'Robloxity' today. When I first played this game I thought of it as an awful game with average quality scripting. But as I have played it; I mean really played it. I started to get addicted to it and I have played it everyday this week. It's become really addictive.

When I played this game, the thing that disappointed me the most was the fact that the buildings didn't endure materials, it was a big let-down because I was really expecting some high-quality textures due to the games reputation.

When I got 500$ I bought myself an 'Exotic Car', in other words a car that can outrun any other vehicle in the game. And it was correct. I was my normal team, 'Criminal' and I survived a hefty amount of police attacks due to this excellent 'Exotic Car'. It sped me past the police and far away from them, they lost me on an intersection.

In Robloxity you are allowed to buy houses to live in while the night passes by. The houses in this game are very user friendly, allowing you to lock and unlock the doors and garage. This feature really adds realism to the game itself; makes the game a reality. The game consists of many different teams and jobs. I am usually a Criminal or a member of Public Transport, as I like driving around in a bus. Some of the vehicles spawn in a glitched position. For example I spawned an exotic car and it was inside the block.

The scripting in this game is intense, it has a nice chunk of Camera Manipulation at the first view of the game when you are playing. The game is pretty simple to navigate the guis, they are not hidden and are able to be closed to ensure maximum gameplay, in my view all games should have this feature. Because guis can really get in the way of things.

The game does have some disappointing areas, such as the tools not being placed in your inventory according to what career you have, the moods such as 'Sleepy' faces don't really look "sleepy". I think that is a bad feature to the game, and the ability to morph into a child just promotes online dating.

Scripting: 7/10
The scripting on this game is great, but it could do with a few tweaks and being made a little bit more efficient..

Building: 7/10
I've always been a fan of classic-building. Not using materials, although I would have preferred 1Dev3 to use materials because then the game would suit it's name more, I only think classic-building suits certain genres.

Overall: 7/10
An excellent game, but is still not the top of the top.

Thanks for reading,

~Zakary Wilson
